Did she actually come over and do it for you or did she talk you through the steps?

You know, I had that problem the last time I relaxed. I had never gotten that before. I think the next time I relax, I am going to revist Profectiv's relaxer.

I used to get really good results from that but then one day it just started underprocessing me. I used the professional formula that time. I can't see what the difference would be, though. It was the same sized kit but w/o the shampoo, conditioner and mixing bowl. I have all that stuff so I figured it would be okay.

I am going to buy the normal retail kit next time in Coarse. That one has better ingredients in the relaxer. The TCB Naturals says on the box that it has all these good ingredients, but then if you look at it, those are in the shampoo and conditioner - NOT the relaxer cream

Yall, I don't get all the credit. I just applied the relaxer and helped with the trim. She rinsed, neutralized, conditioned and did all the drying and flat-ironing herself.

And she has some beautiful, healthy hair so it was easy and fun to help!

She did a great job.

I think it would be great if we all could allow other members to trim our hair since "we" all want to maintain our length.

lol, wine cheese and hair, i love it!

girl, i need a cut REALLY bad. i have a half head full of thick curls and half 2b waves from damage and flat-ironing. it's kinda sad. *sniff*

Khandi~ your hair looks good and its still nice & thick after the PP shedding;)

HoneyDew~ wonderful job:)

Note to self~ find a LHCF hair buddy!

It looks great. I bet it hangs marvelously without those ends -- which I'm sure you don't miss at all. The overall effect is wonderful.

yeah, my hair feels kinda rough...

I just threw it into a ponyfor today .. I will wash n DC tomorrow...

If I remember correctly it has one of the highest PH level of any relaxer...

I can tell
I can tell

Let me know how that Profectiv works for you!

In my fotki .. I also got pics of my rollerset gone wrong that I told you about

After a shampoo and deep condition my hair felt normal again. I think I will try that Profectiv in about 2 weeks. I am scared to try the coarse, but like I said last time the regular underprocessed me. We'll see.

Yeah, the TCB Naturals does have a high pH, so they say. Maybe the regular would have been better.

Edited to add:

The rollerset looks good, I think. I think my problem with mine has ben that my hair is not sleek straight as I prefer. But, like you said it may be the fact that some parts are underprocessed.
