glossyxlipz - I don't use a rinse. However, I am sure someone will be along shorty to help you out.

Rinses are like instant conditioners. They probably have more detangling properties than actual moisturizing or strengthening properties since you apply them and then rinse them off so quickly. I've never used anything specifically labeled as a "rinse", but they probably work to smooth the cuticle and give hair shine.

I never seen a rinse before i went to the DOminican isle in the bSS are they the only ones who make them? thanks charles uk!

Rinses are usually used after you wash out your conditioner to provide extra slip and detangling. The Dom. salons use it in this fashion. From what I've seen, I've only seen Dom. rinses in the bss.

Good question, glossyxlipz! I've never heard of a conditioning rinse either, but this sounds like something I could benefit from.

How often should you use such a rinse, and are there any drawbacks to using it more than once or twice or week or does it depend on your hair type? I have thick, coarse hair. I can use all the detangling help I can get.

hmmm, i was always interested in getting a rinse. but i wonder if it's really all it's cracked up to be. does it detangle better than a regular old detangling conditioner?? and this is why i havent purchased one yet.btw glossylips you and your hair look great.

I have very thick hair too. I've used a rinse several times a week. I haven't experienced any drawbacks at all in using it this often.

My stylist uses Lafier (I believe Allandra does too) and I like the results. The scent is also heavenly! It adds slip but is very light, probably because it's only on my hair long enough to barely coat it.

I just started using rinse (dominican) and I love them.
I use it a co wash sometimes and following my conditioner.
