but Shima Hair products are very exceptional.

I purchased her Hair Repair shampoo, her leave in conditioner and her hair oil and I used them for the first time this past weekend and I must say my hair has never looked better. I did a rollerset on Saturday night which turned out very nice and I am now rocking individual braids where I applied her hair oil before braiding. I will do a final verdict at the end of this month when I take down my braids to see if her hair oil is all that she claims it to be, but I am loving her shampoo and will definitely be purchasing it again.

P.S. I know, I know, this thread means nothing without pictures, but just take my word for it. I was truly impressed with her products!

You've been here TOO long to be saying to take your word for it, especially since this lady is controversial. Where da pics at?
 
the thing with shima is that her products could very well be awesome, but her personality is off putting (to me at least) so I have no desire to try them.

But I am glad that the products work for you even though some people have a problem with her. I don't think that should get in the way of whether you like a product or not. If it works, it works!
 
To be honest OP, if you 'know this thread is worthless without pics' and 'you don't care what anyone says' then why did you bother? The point of a thread is to get opinions/thoughts etc which WILL be varied.

If the products work for you that's GREAT. You know Shima is a controversial subject, heck even I know that and I've only been here a year. Thus the best way to prove those Shima 'haters' wrong is with some proof. Just my 2 cents.
 
If you can't post before and after or even after, then don't try to push her products. You seem to know the drama/ issue with this chick because your post goes right into the negative with the seller. Even the title. So, if you are really pushing the productprove its greatness. Or make post that don't bring up old drama and just say you like it. All of that aside,
I'm happy to know it works for you. And hope you can continue to buy from her. If this post is for us to jump on the bandwagon post a pic.

I fail to see how pictures of our hair really reflect on every product that we use. In my opinion testimonials on hair products with the exception of stylers are more important. Here are my reviews.

@Seamonster hair pics may not tell the whole story, but the OP herself acknowledged that hair pics DO play a role in conveying how we think a product worked.

Plus unlike yourself, OP went straight to the inference of old drama. Just saying.

Because the proof is in the pudding, especially when you bringing up a seller that is surrounded by controversy. And the post goes right in to the negative , and then the good. You know we are a society that has gotten use to instant gratification with products, lol.

Enough of being the post mean butt. I'm truly happy your hair foundation a product u both love. Good for you

Hi! I'm an unknown old head, Omg, just took in I've been here since 2002 and member since 2003 ( getting so old) ... Still , I don't have all the info, but I do know the name brings up a lot of bad feelings and things tend to sour at the sigh of her name. Sorry don't know more. Try to search the name.
 
Yeah, I don't know about the Shima drama either. I've never tried her products, but I've seen a couple of her videos and she seems to have a nice head of hair going there. Did she not mail out products that were paid for or something?
 
I was just making a statement, nothing more. I have been here long enough and yes, I know how alot of the viewers on this thread feel about Shima. However, my point was her products work, period. My goal is to achieve longer hair length and if Shima can help me get there, so be it.

Congrats, I am always up for trying new products esecially if they work. Shima has lovely hair, I saw a video where she basically wanted to set the record straight to the people who thought her hair was fake...I was very impressed.
