I'm so pleased with myself I never thought I could get out of it...I'm over my PJ'ism.!!!!!!!!

I only have two pantene conditioners, one bottle extra liso and a bottle of surge left! (Plus my heat protectant spray and serum) I sold/gave away/used up ALL my stuff...took me over 8 months but it's all gone now.
And in the process I have realised I will NEVER use anything but pantene smooth and sleek on my hair, I love it and my hair loves it!

Any other PJ's or recovering PJ's???

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I am soooooo jealous! I'm trying to recover. I haven't bought any products since March 18 and I've even used up a few but I still have so much stuff. I have some that I should give away but I can't bring myself to do it even though I don't use them :perplexed . I think I could go 2 years without buying anything new all the products that I have.

lol, Honey Dew

I'm about to buy some Boundless Tresses and then some Sidr Tree Butter, then THATS IT!

No more buying after that. I've finally gotten my rountine down and just cut my hair to shoulder length so its a fresh start from here.

thanks ladies...I took a batch into work...on Wednesday during some in house traing I was chatting to a colleague and she was telling me about her addiction to buying handcreams...i thought wow...I told her about my thing for hair conditioners and she was like "I'll take them off you" I told her no I couldnt do that i didn't want her addicted but she said my hair was so soft and she had always wanted to ask me what I used...So i gave in after a few text messages she sent...I took in a batch just to give her but she insisted on paying...I kept the money and will buy more hair cnditioners...but only when I need them! lol

You can do it ladies!

Congratulations!! I am definitely a recovering pj. One facet of my pjism has been cured. I used to be totally obsessive compulsive about buying cheapie conditioners. The idea that I could buy a hair product for 77 cents made me buy in bulk. :perplexed But no more, I've whittled down my collection and will only keep a few on reserve for rinsing out henna and the occasional final rinse. When it came down to it, I discovered I rather have my staple quality conditioners than a millon cheapies.

congrats!

I think I might be a recovering product junkie. I dont buy as much products as I used to because I now know what works for me. I will be stocking up on another bottle of BT soon though.

But yeah I used to stock up at sallys. My mom was like you should work there lol. My room looks like a beauty shop. I have had like 5 flat irons, different type of rollers, a stove iron (which I rarely ever use), 3 curling irons, 2 blow dryers (dont use them), a hooded dryer. I tried various shampoos, conditioners, serums, etc . If it didnt work I would go back out and buy another brand. I could go on. I wasted a lot of money on some stuff I barely even use that didnt work great. Id hate to know the amount of money I spend on hair products over the last 4 years.

My sedu broke months ago and that was like 100 dollars  . At least I have the fhi still even though I havent flat ironed in months.
