I did it! Yippie (long)

Ok ladies, I finally achieved success with a self-relaxer and it came out great. I followed someone's suggestion (not sure who, but thank you) and sectioned the hair in quarters, then each quarter into little amounts like maybe eight which I secured with tiny rubber bands. I based all between them with castor oil and the hairline and then I protected the already relaxed hair (above the rubber bands) with breakfree. I then used my fingers to apply a little motions mild, to the new growth and worked it in. I applied in less than five minutes as the hair was already sectioned. I then removed each rubber band, which slipped off, and smoothed with a rattail comb applying a little more if necessary. I just piled each one one my head as it was finished to keep it out of the way. I finished the smoothing in about seven minutes. Now even though I used mild, it still burns, that is why I wanted a method that will allow me to do everything quickly. By this time at maximum 12 minutes had passed so I cleaned up the sink with the remaining time and washed out at fifteen. Couldn't take anymore burning. I then rinsed used the conditioner for ten minutes. Applied the neutralising shampoo for about ten minutes. Again for five minutes. Rinsed. Towelled dried, applied the semi-permanent to cover grey for 25 minutes. Put on some Motions CPR for another 10 minutes. Rinsed. Used a little breakfree from roots to ends then some Olive Oil Moisturiser. Airdried for about 1/2 hour. Blowdried, then flatironed and my hair is great. GFeeling like silk and for the first time not under-processed. I will continued to use this method, it works. Thanks to all those that contributed to my finding it. There are too numerous to mention but are all members of the LHCF. I will not return to no-lye as I previously considered.

I would like to know where to find information on doing self-relaxing. Thanks

My first time to this forum and I have learned so awesome things. I don't think I will be searching anywhere else.
