Iris! You know I'm a HUGE fan of yours! (LoverofLife71 from Nappturality.com). Girl, your hair is looking fabulous! So what do you like better: mango butter/coconut oil or the avocado butter? I think avocado helps maintain length.

thank you so much girl....i love all the butters and oils..omg i cant choose...i actually found that they will all pretty much do the same thing on my hair that the avocado butter did on dry hair (as long as im not soaking it everyday), they all hold legnth. i would say the Avacodo butter is softer than the others, so thats the biggest plus, but i love them all and just about have them all and use them all..

and omg im dyin over your avatar...i love it!!!
hugs Gina

... music fade out. Your hair looks beautiful as always, and your daughter is going to be irristable 2.

Irrist,

Your wonderful "tropical" twistout inspired me to give it another try... and I'm happy too!!! Braiding @ the root reallly helped and making twists of different sizes gave it a more natural feel. My hair isn't as shiny as usual, but I think it's due to product build-up, otherwise. I'd give this a strong 9!!!

Iris, What did you do differently the second time around??

[/ QUOTE ]

i used a oil lotion instead of the mango butter and coconut oil , less twists and took them out too soon..too many short cuts.

You've inspired me to really go for it this summer and do the twist outs, it really looks fabulous.
