Lovely. congrats.. I hope to do the same that you are doing now. I am not sure I can hold out quite that long though. what methods did you use during your transition?

For the first part of my transition i braided my my natural hair but then i got tired of it so i twisted it instead. i hardly ever wore my hair out and in winter and spring it was under a hat 99% of the time.
I always steamed my hair as often as i could and i use castor oil alot.

You do have to be really careful when detangling as well as ur protein/moisture balance.

Most of all as little direct heat as possible!
and dont fiddle with your hair.

I detangled in smal-ish after i washed my hair while still wet then applyed my leave in and twisted. Redid this everyweek.

These are the first BC pics I truthfully enjoy and adore. You did an amazing job with details and I love your length shots...!!!

Your hair is gorgeous!!:woot:

I think you may be my hair twin, but I won't know until I finish my long-term transition. Anyway, CONGRATS and enjoy that beautiful hair, lady!!

WOW! Your hair looks wonderful! I am transitioning for about the same amount of time too. It really does pay off to wait sometimes!
