I Cut and used the JFM texture softner on my Lacefront (PICS)

My lacefront was basically waistlength w/ densly packed 3C curls b4. I couldn't deal with it cuz it was incredibly hard to manage so I cut it and used the JFM texture softener to relax the curl pattern. I absolutely love the way it came out. I even like it better now than b4 (but that may be because I can comb it now) Here are the pics:

I co-washed it with Sedal Keraforce and HH Hello Hydration and then applied Frizz Ease Corrective Gel. My hair was soft and didn't get frizzy all day. I took these pictures after being out in the 60 degree NYC weather all day yesterday.

A Lace Wig is a wig that has a base made of lace and a natural looking hairline. You can part it anywhere and wear it in a high ponytail. You have to use glue or adhesive to apply it and it can stay on for as long as a month with one application.

What did you do to the rest of that hair you cut off the lace front?? Waist length to arm pit is kind of a good length. I need hair for braiding you know.

Girl I threw that tangled mess out. Thats how the whole project started. I was cutting the knots out and got fustrated cut it to APL and then texturized it cuz It was still matting badly.

I take this thing off everynight, moisturize my hair and baggy my ends. I can't stand to sleep in it. I'm going away this weekend and considering just wearing my regular hair on the trip cuz I can't keep this on overnight.

Thanks MissFallon... I did some research and the ones that I saw were retard expensive... Are they all like this? Is there a cheaper "try-it-out" alternative? YOU look great in yours but I have no hand-eye coordination when it comes to ALL things hair related. (I almost put an eye out when I tried the whole false lash thing) I can definately see things getting ugly for me... And for $400 I would just have to grab a bandana and rock a crooked doo!

It is easy to apply but intimidating at first. I paid a little over $300 for mine but am purchasing another one from a Chinese Vendor for $140. I only paid that much first because I messed up my second units measurements and didn't want this to happen again plus I wanted a stock unit. Ebay has customs for $189 but u can also get a custom from a chinese vendor.

MsF you did a WONDERFUL job. your hair looks soooo very pretty and natural. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! looks like that was $300 well spent. I only wish that i can try one on and cut/style it first BEFORE i purchase it. its such a gamble...i would hate to spend all that money and come out looking like Wendy Williams...

This is absolutely the most georgeous lace front I have seen yet! You are living hope for those like me that really want to give it a shot, but who are a little apprehensive. I especially like how you take the lace front off each night and care for your own hair. This is a plus!! You could give lessons to some of these celebrity hairstylists for sure!!!
