I co-washed and twisted in under an hour!! (No small miracle for me...)

I know it's rude to post and run....but I really need to go to bed. Hubby has been waiting on me to finish my hair.

But I had to write about tonight's hair experience because it's so different from anything I have ever had happen previously.

I have slept on co-washing just because I tried it once or twice and never thought my scalp got clean. But this weekend, I purchased Aussie Moist because the bottle says it rinses clean from the scalp.

Here is the day's reggie:

I put it in my hair and saran wrapped my hair this morning around 8am. I left it in all day.

I took my shower at 9pm and rinsed out the conditioner and gave it a thorough cleaning...as clean as I could get with no poo...

My shower brush went straight through my hair.
When I say straight through, I mean, NOT ONE TANGLE!! Not one.

I was out of the shower by 9:07pm. I know. I looked because I was rushing.:yep:

I put shea butter on my body and started to twist my hair for the night at 9:11pm

I was finished twisting MY ENTIRE HEAD by 9:27pm

I looked in the mirror, looked at my hair and the clock one more time to be sure and then came in here after promising hubby I would not be online with ya'll for too long. (How sad is it that I have to tell my hair friends something before going to bed?!?! :lachen:)

Anyway, I had to post this because...well...

I slept on co-washing.

My hair feels wonderful and was not tangly and I finished twisting in record time simply becayse of the manageability. I don't know if this will be a staple because I like a squeaky clean feeling scalp and I don't really have that right now....but my hair sho feels "right fine," as my grandmother used to say.

If you are like me, don't sleep on co-washing!

(If anyone responds, please forgive me for having to leave so quickly. Gotta run....)

i cant wait to see pics, are you natural op?

Okay...update.

I refuse to take a picture because...well...I just do.

Well, my hair smells like heaven, and it feels so delicious...but it looks...

hmmph...not dry, not crunchy..but something that I cannot put a finger on...something I don't like.

I have been getting compliments, but there is something different that I can't define yet. It feels great, but the look is not all the way there. Maybe I should take a pic...BRB...

Pics are in my Picasa album...which, by the way, I am starting to fall in love with. I can edit from my desktop and upload whatever I edited straight to the web album. Niiicccee!!!

Anyway, I look like a wet poodle to myself. DH and DD love it...but I think I look crazy.

It feels great. It looks like Celie's twistout...if she ever had one. :lachen::lachen::lachen:

I  Aussie Moist!!!! I don't live in the US so I bought 4 large bottles, when I was visiting in May, to last me till anyone I know who lives there's coming over (I'lll get them to buuy 2 large bottles)

I really like the resulting twistout in the pictures :yep:

Co-washing is amazing, but I think the real X factor here is that saran wrap. Wrapping your head in saran wrap instead of just using the plastic cap makes a HUGE difference for me.
