I Chopped! *PIIIIIIIIIICS!*

Honey you know I stalks ya Fotki!! I am so proud of you and it looks great. I BC on 6/01/09 and it is going fantasticly. I'm proud of you. Let's check back in September shall we?

Ooooh do it! :grin: It's hard for me to trust stylists so I knew I'd have to chop myself and then just deal with the results.

The Baking Soda DC helped combat the shrinkage initially, so when my SO first saw it he was like "Oh...you didn't cut THAT much" and I said " It was 4-5" all the way around."

Then it started to dry and he was like "oooooh. It is ALOT shorter. Wow." :ohwell: *silence* Then he goes " Well....do you like it?" :perplexed

He'll come around. When I started he said he disliked curly hair - doesn't matter which type, he prefers straight. But as I started wearing my braid outs and twists outs he slowly started to play with it or affectionately squish it. I think he just needs a few days to get used to it. :yep:

I knew my hair was growing in graduated layers, so I just chopped down to the curls and then did my best to even it out. I can only imagine what it would look like straight! :lachen:

Thx! I was impatient and wanted to chop, but I always wanted to have a big fro right away. This isn't MASSIVE but it's still pretty large and in charge. I feel like the token black rocker chick that you see in ads. :look:

I might be stuntin a little today ... :gorgeous:
 
I could have stretched longer...but it got to the point where I was just like...Why?

I knew I'd have a decent length to start with, and so long as I can do a puff or some sort of updo I'm cool. :yep:
 
That is some awesome hair you have there!!! It looks great!! I was thinking when you said all the hair was in the bag that you did a BIGGGG CHOP!!! Congrats!!!
