I cheated!!

Ok, maybe I wouldn't exactly call it "cheating" but, I relaxed 2 days before schedule and I flat ironed my hair. I love it. I wish I had photos (they'll be coming soon). My hair has a lot of body and all that good stuff. It looks healthy. (Thanks for the Mizani Crystal. I wouldn't say that Mizani lye is superior but I like it better than motions. )

I love my hair and all but.....I can't wait to put braids back in!! why? Because this crown and glory technique is tha bomb. My hair isn't long enough to put up in a decent bun or even the pony tail method so the braids are my best bed. After taking out the braids and relaxing, it's such a suprise to SEE The actual length that I've attained.

Yeah, I love it.
Thanks girls.

by the way, I want to thank who ever gave me that anti-humectant pomade when we were in NY. where can I get more? It smells great!

Photos coming soon - as requested by Carmen Rose

Leshia, motions left my hair really under processed. Motions may not be the only source of the blame. I used motions lye and lye relaxers don't straighten hair bone straight. I found that out after switching from no-lye to lye. I don't mind not having bone straight relaxed hair, what I do mind is the severely underprocessed hair that motions leaves me with. I did a touchup with Mizani Regular lye today and so far so good. My hair didn't turn out bone straight but it did not look as under processed as the Motions Regular, Motions Oil mild, Motions SUPER, AMD Motioins Oil Regular left me . I think I've had enough of Motions

what do u think ?

I would advise anyone with 4a/4b hair to stay away from Motions relaxers.

Sweet Nic,
My stylist has been using Motions on my hair for the past year (no lye I think) and my hair is always bone straight after a touch up. I bought the Motions with Oil Mild Lye for him to use next week (8 weeks since last touch up). I have 4a hair...now Im insecure about this since your story.....
