I am so mad right now I don't even care...

I am so sorry that this happened to your babies hair, I know that youare beyond P*ssed . I looked at the pictures from the other thread and It looks like you can camouflage that spot with putting her hair into afro puffs. I saw the back but I couldn't tell if that had been cut too or not. If you can still blend the hair into two pony tails then maybe you can style it like that until the other parts start to grow back. If there is not enough hair to do that than you may have to cut it even for a more uniform look. When my daughter was 1 1/2 I cut her hair down to an inch because it was thin and very uneven. I kept it conditioned and put head band on her twa. when her hair was a little longer I added extension braids for special occasions. HTH

I posted in your other thread and i'll say it again here. Please calm down and don't go off on your parents. She could have done this with you. I think you may need to think about what you are going to do once the anger settles down a bit.

My parents left so I won't be going off on them besides I have nothing to say.

Her hair was in puffs when she cut it. I will try the puff style tomorrow but being that her hair is short in a lot of places when I do put her hair in puffs it would roll back up. I will see what happens though. It's worth a try...anything is.

It seems like you're calming down so that's good. Hopefully you'll be able to resolve this soon. Good luck.

It's something a lot of kids do. It seems like a lot of hostility for something that seems to be a common occurrence. It's only hair, it'll grow back. Are there deeper issues? Was this just a trigger for some other deep resentment towards your parents?

uhhhhhh no..i think i was just PMS'n and really mad. I have calmed down though but i am still really sad about her hair.

I never had pretty hair so I work hard to keep my daughter's hair nice that's all.

Besides I am more mad at the fact that they weren't watching her with the scissors and as a result this happened. I know it's hair and it will grow back but it's the principle. this could have been prevented.
