Help!!!

I went online to find the products that Tracy recently recommended (Loreal Unfrizz Taming Creme and John Frieda Dream Curls). Well, I found them, and for some strange reason, my mouse just wouldn't stop after I got those two products into my 'cart'... It kept leading me on, and I ended up ordering two more products that I've had my eye on, Lanza Protein Plus Shampoo and Keracare Humecto conditioner. OH MAN!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME???!! Hanging out at this forum is definitely not good for my wallet /images/graemlins/frown.gif!!! I just can't seem to stop!!!I need rehab.... /images/graemlins/look.gif

Lindy don't feel bad girl. If I wasn't a product junkie I would never even have half of the stuff in my bathroom now. It's all about trial and error and after being serious about my hair for 2 years now, I think I've narrowed it down to the perfect products for my hair. Yep it's taken that long. And there are probably more out there yet to try that probably work wonders.

Today after going into the hair shop AGAIN. I was just in there on Friday, the girl gave me a discount cause she said she see me in there all the time /images/graemlins/look.gif

Oh Lord, as much as I was thankful for the discount I felt shamed. She said it was all good anyway and said it showed I like to take care of my hair and keep it looking nice. True, but only of she knew about this hair board to boot.

where did you go that had everything that you wanted?... oh! i'm not asking for me... i just think you should warn us all about which site we should avoid... /images/graemlins/sekret.gif

Hey Lindy, where did you order from? I've been wanting to try the L'anza protein plus shampoo, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Thanks. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Oh, almost forgot......welcome to the "PJ CLUB" /images/graemlins/grin.gif

LOL! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Lindy...Girl, you better get used to that. /images/graemlins/smile.gif Everytime you see beautiful hair and know what the person's secret is, it will have you running out like a junkie needing to get a fix. /images/graemlins/grin.gif Rehab is one thing but when the dealers keep showing their stuff to you, it's hard to stop! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think a lot of us used to be PJs. It sounds like it's just the beginning for you. Brace yourself. Sometimes it lasts for a while. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hi Lindy,

I almost had a purchase attack /images/graemlins/spinning.gif yesterday but I managed to avoid it.

Here's how: I was online, clicking away and I added item after item to my shoppong cart. Before I checked out, I minimized the window and walked away from the computer for a while. I kept thinking about the shopping cart, but I wouldn't go back to the computer.
Eventually, my conscious said /images/graemlins/naughty.gif "girl, you know good and well that you don't need to buy all that stuff!".
So, I went back and closed the window that had the shopping cart page on it and didn't look back.

Now mind you, I am going to buy something...I can't help myself. But walking away from the computer before purchasing all of the items in my cart helped me to avoid a serious impulse buy (ok, several impulse buys!) At least it worked yesterday. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm happy about it because just as much as I love finding a great new product...I HATE /images/graemlins/mad.gif buying 3 or 4 products that don't work for me in the process. Know what I mean?!?! /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I think I feel another attack coming on ! /images/graemlins/crazy.gif /images/graemlins/crazy.gif BREATHE! BREATHE!! /images/graemlins/crazy.gif /images/graemlins/crazy.gif LOL

Lindy,

I hate to confirm it, but you are a PJ. /images/graemlins/grin.gif Sorry sweetie. /images/graemlins/look.gif

Welcome to the club. I just spent almost $70 on various hair care products (some were repurchases and a satin cap and pillowcase), but I'm still a PJ nonetheless. And to top it off, I still need about 3 more products... /images/graemlins/blush.gif

It's nice to see I'm in good company, ladies!!!

I am seriously going to try to get my product junkie tendencies under control though!! I think I have everything I need now (and more!!!). I'm going to see if I can go a couple of months without buying anymore hair products!! /images/graemlins/crazy.gif I know it won't be easy -- especially reading these posts all the time-- every other day someone comes up with another 'miracle' product... /images/graemlins/grin.gif

The website I ordered from is http://www.metrobeauty.com It's really good! They carry a lot of different brands, and the prices seem pretty reasonable to me... /images/graemlins/smile.gif Happy Shopping!!! Go on, you know you want to order something!!! /images/graemlins/poke.gif

My 19 year old son gets all my "tried and didn't work for me products". He has a very thick afro that he sometimes braids and sometimes twist, he always looking for something to soften his hair. Since I joined this board and have tried so many things, he now has more products than I do. I am simplifying my regimen, all I need now is good leave in for after I done using The Hair Fixer, which has worked wonders for my hair breakage. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Have you ordered from this site before? If so pls. post your review to the vendor forum. I'm sure we could all use the info! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Linday,

I'm proud to say that I'm no longer a PJ. /images/graemlins/wink.gif There will come a time when you are no longer a PJ too (but it's just not your time yet). /images/graemlins/grin.gif I'm so glad I finally have all the products that work for my hair. I'm stocked up for a nice while, except for one product. I need to get some apple cider vinegar on my next visit to the grocery store. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Join us... /images/graemlins/assimilate.gif

Girl, being a PJ is all about finding the right products for your hair. Remember, that once you find the right products, you have to stop the PJism...unless you see a new product and have to review it for the benefit of you fellow LHCF members. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Lindy,

You are in wonderful company girl. I personally, don't really agree that PJism is a problem unless you're spending your rent on hair products. /images/graemlins/blush.gif Plenty of folks spend money on worse vices. We spend money for the care and benefit of our hair!

So welcome to a wonderful (very supportive /images/graemlins/grin.gif) club!
