Curl Junkie Product Help?

I am not loving the stylers. I had a work event last night and had to add a different styler over the Curl Queen gel and Pattern Pusha gel. I tried to refresh the dry looking patches with a bit of Aloe Fix gel but that didn't work so I added curl cream.

I did like the way my hair curled back up in the straight areas (slept in a ponytail) with just steam from the shower and Curl Junkie stylers.

I've read that mixing Pattern Pusha with leave-in makes it spread better, but I don't have any left to try that trick.

I dont use any of the stylers. Well, I like the serum one as a finisher, Curls in a bottle.

Today I used:
Curl Junkie Daily Fix cleansing conditioner (have about 1/2 left of the sample, a little goes a long way)
Beauticurls Strengthening Conditioner (smells great, light floral scent)
Smoothing Lotion leave-in (smells like candy)
Curls in a Bottle and Aloe Fix (on opposite sides)

I am loving the slip in all of the Curl Junkie shampoo, conditioner and treatment products I've tried.
Even the protein-rich products and some have great slip.

Daily Fix felt like it was lathering, but when I checked the mirror, it wasn't.
Curls in a Bottle is very much like Curl Keeper original (thin, watery gel), but Curl Keeper dried my hair out so I returned it after a few attempts.

Aloe Fix looks thick, like vaseline and has a medicinal smell that I don't like that dissipates. I felt like it was lathering, although I saw no suds. It's a heavy product and seemed to elongate my curls. It's a much firmer hold than Curls in a Bottle, Curl Queen gel and Pattern Pusha gel. I air dried for a while since I had to wait for the dryer (DH washed his hair this morning too). Aloe Fix dried firmer than the Curls in a Bottle. Once fully dry (under dryer) fluffed both sides with my hands.

DH said he could not tell the difference between the products once dried and fluffed. He did say my hair had a natural shine and did not look dry.
My hair still felt light and was blowing in the wind. It's what I prefer so I generally use curl creams instead of gels.

I still have a few products left to try and plan to use my leftover Curl Rehab under Wetline gel:
CoffeeCoco Curl Creme-Lite
H&B Honey Butta
Smoothing Conditioner
H&B Deep Fix
Curl Fix

I got 4 days out of this Aloe Fix and Curls in a Bottle Combination. I'm washing it all out tomorrow although it could last another day. My hair doesn't feel dry and still has a light hold.
I would purchase both of these stylers depending on how my test with Wetline gel over Curl Junkie products works out.

Very nice list. I may revisit the Strengthening Conditioner (thanks to you):giggle:

Daily Fix is great!

But I still like to have a bunch of stuff.:nono:

So I can never see myself settling down to one line regardless of how great it is.:ohwell:

Bad Habit.:perplexed:

I am trying to narrow down my stash. I haven't bought anything in a bit, well, I did buy Elucence moisture balancing conditioner, which I used only once. lol And a backup As I Am Cowash and Shea Moisture 10 in 1 Renewal Masque (don't like it, used once).

A Former Member - Her entire Stash was CJ. She had Liters of Curl Rehab and other "stuff" I wish I could remember who that was? It was deliciously impressive.:lick:

It's a nice Solid Line. But I know I have product A-D-D and need a variety.

Is the BF sale usually better than 35% off?
@naturalmanenyc
It's about that. Maybe with Free Shipping? It's usually something like 20% & Free Shipping, but then you add the CM15 so it's about that (minus the Free Shipping).

They normally do Grey, BF & C-Monday. I think last year, the Grey Day (can't remember if it was a Thursday) had the better deal.

I do this too. I like to buy lines for some reason. I have like 4 complete lines of product in my stash and haven't used yet. But my shopping carts are full at the moment as well. Ah such is the life of a pj
