I acheived my first hair goal

My puff !!!!!

Okay the puff looks really jacked up, i need a dryer to make it look better. But since Im on my little no heat challenge I wont be doing that for a year.

BTW, What would be a reasonable second hair goal? (in a reasonable time period)

What are you planning to use the blowdryer for? Have you just tried airdrying without combing out your hair? Not sure what look you are trying to achieve...

Ayeshia, your hair is lookin fab...congrats on reaching your first goal!! I know it hard to judge how long it is with all the shrinkage, esp if you're not using heat. I judge it by how long I can stretch it, on of my goals was to get the back to reach collarbone length, which I achieved(yay!), my other goal was to get the front to chin length, right now Im just past my bottom lip.

I miss my blowdrying days too, my fro was huge! Hairlove, the blowdryer is used to get the afro look, like the Angela Davis pic. But I haven't used it in a long time since I joined this forum. I was thinking about trying banding to get a blown out look...

Girl your hair is coming along great. Well for me I have acheived that puff goal too. Now I want to have either a pony puff, where I can use the rubber band with the balls on the end to secure it. I was also hoping that I could have twists that rest at my shoulders, after shrinkage. Since I do my twists on wet hair, they shrink up pretty far. So whichever one of those comes first, will be my next hair goal. I think it will be the twists at my shoulders, because it takes alot of work to comb my hair out while wet, so that i can make the puff, and I think it will be more work to get an actual pony puff.
