Hurricane Ivan ruined my Curve appt. and the BC!!!

Okay, I'm gonna need these Hurricanes to not be hitting Florida every week or two! I don't know what's up with this weather coming out of the Carribean, but things have been pretty rough in Florida lately! (Maybe b/c the state sabotoged the last election?

) Anyways, I had to cancel my Curve trip tomorrow. I'm actually in DC right now, but I'm going back home in the morning b/c my training director doesn't want us to get stuck in NY if they start cancelling flights. On a serious note, obviously, safety is always first when disaster strikes, so I'm not trying to be petty. But I was really looking forward to the appt. b/c I really had to talk myself into letting them cut my hair in the first place. ***SIGH*** I feel like a deflated balloon.

ANyway, have they determined if we are in the path/cone? My peeps back home are telling me that I must have brought Florida badluck and that I should come back to Indy--who moves to Florida and goes through 3 HURRICANES?? haha

I'm faithful to the hair, though. Right after we had a power outage on Sunday with Frances, I decided that I didn't like the way my hair felt - so I washed it. Yeah, the lights flickered on and off while I was putting it in my ponytail, but it was the fastest that I have ever done.

I was just thinking about you last night wondering what day this week your appt. was.. that stinks!!

I was sooooooo looking forward to hearing all about your experience at Curve!! Hopefully you can still get there some day soon.. but at least you are safe!!

GURLLLLLL!!!! Do you know my grandpa just said that exact same thing???? I swear, that's gonna be my reasoning! It's payback time for Florida!

Back on topic... I'm trying to get in at Curve on Sept. 20, but it's all booked up. Hopefully someone will cancel!!!

Don't worry Ayanapooh - there is a probably a big ole reason in the grand scheme of things. Just means you'll have longer natural hair when you do cut!
