I straightened my hair last night and found a pleasant surprise. I'm maybe 2 or 3 inches (???) away from touching waist. Here are the pics

I never ever get weave checked, i promise. So i don't think that will be happening. I think people know it's my hair or maybe i just don't pay anyone attention

Thank you! I don't follow a regimen exactly. But the one thing i will tell you, shampoo's (mainly, but not all) are the debil for my hair. I went back to using Wen after a slight hiatus and my hair is in great shape. Also, the huge key for me is no heat on a regular basis. I straighten my hair once every 1-2 months. This stretch was maybe 6 or 7 weeks. Other than that i'm in twistouts for the most part.

You have some nice thick hair. You just became one of my hair idols.

Wow! I feel honored. I don't think anyone's ever told me that before.

Thanks Soleil! Umm, it took maybe 3-3 1/2 hours to blowdry and straighten * i think* i didn't keep track. It takes quite some time. I envy those that are able to straighten so quickly and easily. I'm not sure how they do it.
