I purchased one and returned it. It was just too much heat for my hair. It did a great job but it was too HOT 
. Maybe there is a technique that I missed. Who knows. All I know is that my hair paid the price.
I am sure that results will vary for others.
I picked up a CHI with temperature control instead.
