How to edit Internet Hyperlinks with Texts?

Serenity_Peace

Genius never dies!
Does anyone know how to do this for my signature? I've seen it done many times but I can't figure out how to do it on the forum.

I know how to do this in Word, but not in the forum.

Suppose I want this link:

http://www.vote-smart.org/election_president.php

To read:

"Candidates"

It's a link to the presidential candidates and instead of pasting the entire address in my signature, I just want it to read "Candidates"

Does anyone know and can help me?

Thanks,

SP :blowkiss:

Type what you want it to say.

Then highlight the phrase and click on the hyper link button.

Then paste the actual URL into the hyperlink box.

Click ok and the link you seek will be created.

For instance this is yahoo.

I type yahoo.

Then I click on the word yahoo.

I type in yahoo.com

and it becomes a hyperlink.
