Why do I wanna know? Cuz' some people say that they're BSL with the nape of their hair only 10", and for some, they seem to need like 15" in their nape to be BSL. Me, I'm BSL, and my hair is 13" in the nape. I'm 5'1" also. How tall is everyone else here?(u don't have to necessarily be BSL to vote in the poll :))
 
Songbyrd517 is 4" taller than me, and it'll take about 4" of extra hair for her to reach BSL, so I wonder if that means someone 6'4" would need 26" in the nape to be BSL? But that doesn't sound correct though. Oh well, it was just a guess:)

I don't (tape) measure anymore... (I was becoming too addicted, lol)
I measure now simply by stretching the hair then taking a pic

That's about the exact same for me. I'm at 23 inches and am actually past brastrap. I also think I'm 5'2 but my mom said I'm more like 5'0 and a half:( I've always wanted to be tall...oh well:lol:

I'm 5'7" with a long neck also. so I guess it will take me 12.5in to get to bsl as well,but right now i'm just trying to get to shoulder lenght.
 
I'm 5'8".

I don't use a tape measure anymore to measure my hair. Where are you ladies measuring from? The crown, the very edge of your hairline?

I'm 5'8"... From the nape, BSL is about 12-13 inches on me. It depends on more than just height. You also have to take into account the length of someone's neck and torso. They may have a longer neck, which would require more inches. Same thing with torso. People also wear their bras at different heights.

Not to call anyone out but I've also noticed that alot of women on here wear their bra strap too high (yes there is a such thing!). Some women say they are bra strap but in reality their strap is inches above the normal area.
 
I've always noticed this and this has been one of my main reasons for having hair anorexia. I am 4'11 and I need 11" from my nape to be BSL and 13" to be midback. I look at everyone else and it seems that their hair is incredibly longer than mine and I attributed it to their height. I need 20 inches to waistlength from nape.

I've noticed this also.

Okay, I just measured, and from the nape of my neck to the bottom of my bra strap is 14 1/2 inches. I am 5' 8". I considered myself BSL when my hair covered my brastap.
 
Correction: I'm 4' 10" even. I kno....I've been called shortie my whole life. LOL!
I'm standing on top of a stool in my picture below, sad ain't it.

Hair anorexia...that sickness is real. I'm suffering from that as I type!:lol:
