How Safe Is the Maxiglide vs. the Tourmaline?

How Safe Is the Maxiglide vs. theT3 Tourmaline?

Hi ladies, I'm in a bit of a dilemna. Although I love the results of the Maxiglide I got for Christmas today, I don't know how safe it is for the hair and if it's solid ceramic or not. I wanted the T3 Tourmaline, because I know it's supposed to be safe, but I'm not sure if the Maxiglide is too? Has anyone used both?

I have the Maxiglide but IMO I don't know if one is more safe than the other. Both can burn the crap out of your hair is you don't use proper procedure/products. (My friend fried her hair with a T3...she had a false sense of security )

The Maxiglide is bulky and has those pins which work great for me but a lot of ppl don't like. I believe the Maxi pins are ceramic (I thought I remembered him saying that in the infomercial) I've never used the T3 so I can't speak for that.

I love my Maxi though...
