I'm 45, soon to be 46. I've gone through cycles in my life where I would grow my hair long and then cut it short. Now, I'm in the cycle where I have become more interested in having and maintaining healthy hair. For me length is just an added bonus.

J'ai 24 ans. Je suis n'est nouvelle pas sur le long forum de soin de cheveux

Gods, you can tell how long it's been since I took french right?

Just turned 57 this past Wed, so Coffee, you got company. Hair length was dependent on style. I've worn my hair every which way, afro, pressed, relaxed, jheri curl, wave nouveau , braids, weaved, colored, feathered, streaked, long, short & in-between. Right now trying to get my edges back after a medical crisis & grow out this TWA. Haven't worn my hair out natural since my early twentys so learning how to take care of it & style it.

Long hair is not something I necessarily strived for because once I became an adult, I enjoyed wearing it short. Also, I, too, like lots of variety in my styles. So very tempting to "do" something to make my hair look different. Forcing myself to stay focused on regrowing edges & worry about style later. Yeah, right? LOL And now my desire is to see how long I can grow it in it's natural state.

im in my 20's and i want my little hair tail aka bottom of the v to be grazing bsl by my birthday in january.

24, I've been on this hair journey since last year november and my ultimate goal is BSL or WL

25. Wow, I'm surprised how many 20-something people there are on here. I wasn't expecting that

I've been on this hair journey since 2003 when I first started taking care of my relaxed hair. Then I transitioned between 2004-2006, bigchopped in 2006, wore my natural hair loose for a year and then locked my hair in 2007. It's been a long journey but now I can finally just sit back and grow!

I'm 32, (33) in October.. I've always wanted a long, healthy, full head of hair every since I could remember... Working to get healthy full MBL :yep:

I am also 57 and have silver hair (50%) and loving the information and ideas that I get from this site. I like my hair shoulder length and believe wholeheartedly that it got that way through a stylist who rollersets my hair every two weeks and uses no direct heat. My hair absolutely loves WEN and coconut oil. We are women and we NEVER,EVER stop seeking ways to look , feel and be our best.

I am 36. I have always had short hair and now that I've gotten older and learned to take better care of it, it has gotten longer and this site has helped me tremendously. I do want longer hair, but definitely healthy hair.

I turned 30 in FEB so I picked the 31-35 option (at this point I am closer to 31 than 30...)

eta: i am not surprised AT ALL that most people who voted are between 20 & 25.
