I voted 36-40 I myself is 37 yrs. young.:drunk: And for the first time in my life my hair is at it's most healthiest state ever:clapping:not to mention it's longest:yay:

37 will be 38 on the 30th of this month. And I don't see myself not striving for length no time soon.:look:

I am 35.
This is the first time in my entire life that my hair has been this long. I can now stretch it out when wet close to my breast, which I could NEVER do. I was always told by my mother that I had the type of hair that didn't grow, and until this forum... I BELIEVED HER! Now, I know that my hair grows and I am learning how to retain my lenghth.

so... THANK YOU LHCF!

I'm 20...until the end of this month that is :wink2:

I stumbled upon this site one day when I was trying to figure out how to roller set my hair. I still haven't figured it out. :wallbash:

This place is a freaking treasure trove! I CAN'T DO HAIR, but thanks to you ladies I have found a way. I've cut my hair to shoulder length twice in the last 4 years and it always grows past APL and starts drastically thinning out. Now, I'm curious to see how long it will grow without all of the abuse and neglect that it's been taking all of my life.

I am 28 and I found this site in June when I was looking for hair care because I was tired of wearing weaves and wigs. I want the health but mostly want the length. I had long hair when I was a child and cut it when I was in high school and was never able to obtain my length back. But I love this site and I'm glad I found it.

I'm 25 I don't know how long I will grow my hair...after a few years I get an uncontrollable urge to chop it off...I can't help it I start to want something new. I just cut 4-5 inches off. I like length but with my toddler it gets to be too much work past a certain point.

I'm 27 and want longer, healthier hair. My reason for longer hair is only because I personally don't like the way shorter hair frames my face, otherwise length would not be very important to me. I honestly wish this site was called Healthy Hair Care Forum because everyone's goal is not to have long hair.

24! Lots of people in my age bracket I see. I've just loved long hair since i was little. I've always had long hair. Now my challenge is just to keep it HEALTHY and to LAY OFF THE HEAT...which can be very hard for a grad student who works full time:( Im working on it though and i've seen great progress. Yay me!

I'm 36 and thank God that I've realized that you never get too old to learn something from somebody........My 6 and 3 y. olds take me to school on a daily :lachen:!!!!

I am 30 years young and I am in to win healthy hair and the length is a added bonus as I get older I do not plan on cutting into a short style.

I'm 23, will be 24 in a couple of months. I've always loved long hair. I hope to be full MBL by my 25th bday.

24....I've achieved a good length at the age of 22 relaxed...now let's go for that length and beyond while i'm natural.. I think i'll never stop wanting long hair until I see that MBL unstretched...

I'm 30 and not a huge fan of long hair. I'm growing it out to see if I can get it to grow long like my locs did, but after that I will likely cut it back off

I'm 23. I'm in it for the length and health. I've always cut my hair between NL and SL because I liked braids and didn't like dealing with my hair (never knew how to really take care of it and I didn't want to damage it with heat or chemicals). Now, I want to go for HL stretched and MBL/WL unstretched. I want a LION'S MANE!

As for getting older and cutting it, well that all depends. I think a lot of older women or women with kids cut it short because it's too much of a hassle to keep it long. It really just depends for me. I'll probably just wear it in a bun or a long braid when I get older, but we'll see! However, when I have kids I'm keeping it long. I want my children to know from BIRTH that BW can grow and maintain long beautiful natural hair! :)

I will be 28 next mth. I plan on growing my hair out. Usually when I do after a while I get tired and cut it off. However this time I would like to see if I can grow my hair to APL. I think I will keep it I just need to learn how to style it.

I'll be 24 in a week and a day. I do want longer hair, about full MBL stretched. Unstretched it will probably look shoulder length or APL. I don't think that will change as I get older.
