I've never measured my hair. Maybe I'll have to do this one day.

Where would be the best place to measure at?

I picked "never". I used to do it often...like every 2-3 months but not anymore.
Now I don't care what it does...lol. I guess because I'm 2" above waist...and after having been at my waist and then chopping some off I don't fret about where it is anymore; I know I can get back to waist at anytime. I just let it do it's thing.

Never,
I stopped because some months I would have faster growth than others. And I really got frustrated. I stopped doing it in 2002.

I rather use milestones to chart my progress. WHat I can put my hair in a ponytail then I know its growing, when it touches my shoulders that will be another milestone

I chose other.

I measure after every relaxer which is anywhere from 12 to 16 weeks. I don't measure in between because there's too much shrinkage from my new growth:perplexed

Other. I did measure it a few days ago and was depressed with the result. I'd much rather look at pictures to see progres rather than how long it is.

I do the same thing APL, BSL etc...real measuring gets on my nerves,
this is the closest to measuring I get.

In order to live a more stress free life I do not measure my hair or weigh myself. Doing these two things more than likely will result in the opposite of what I want so to avoid these stressors, I refrain myself from doing either one.

Last time was in July...proabbly not again until Jan or March. So every 6 months...well I dont really measure but I just strtch the hair with conditioner to see the length.

It's hard to get my measurement down exactly, so I haven't done that in a while, but after I wash my hair, I usually pull down a few strands in the back and front to see how far they stretch. I agree with the people who mentioned the watched pot. It seems like my hair grew faster when I wasn't doing the strand test.

I don't measure per se anymore since it is longer than BSL.
But I do need help!!! :D LOL I pull my hair down every time I'm in the bathroom in the evening trying to feel how long it is now and if it has grown. Other times I can go months without measuring at all. My interest in my hair comes and goes.
I suffer badly from hair anorexia.

Everytime i get my hair relaxed (12wks/3mon.) i like to take pics and just do an eye visual to see how far i am from my goal.:)

I've never measured my hair. I notice my hair gets thicker before it gets longer if that makes any sense.

I measure every month or so. I was doing it like weekly and that got old fast. I do have a soft tape measure that I mark on with a black sharpie to track my progress. It's fun seeing my dedication pay off.

I voted never. I just look at it and try to see if it's any longer. That and I don't know how to measure *hehe* Plus, if I knew how, I'd probably become obsessed and measure every 10 minutes ;)

I voted everyday yes I realize I have a problem
but don't measure with a tape measurer
I just stretch to a body part
