Currently 34 weeks post today, aiming for 78-80 weeks ultimatley but if I make it to 52 weeks I will still be very happy. I'm using henna treatments, Porosity Control Conditioner, Lily of the Valley Aloe Vera Gel, weekly protein and deep conditioning treatments, GVP Paul Mitchell Detangler, Beauty Without Cruelty leave in as a detangler on dry hair as well, ACV and cold water rinses, braids and wigs are all helping me with this stretch.

On Saturday, I will be 13 weeks post. On Sunday, I will be starting the countdown all over again. Can't wait :woot: :dance7:

So many ladies are transitioning. I'm 11 wks post. The longest I have done is 15 or 16 wks. I would love to give my hair a 6 month break to gain some more thickness, but I don't know. I have hair issues covering the gray hair around the edges. Semi color just does not do so well on new growth.

I totally agree janeemat. I think I may have to use indigo on a more regular basis to keep them under control. Thankfully it is all natural like henna and won't cause any damage to my hair:yep:. It's time to purchase it in large bulks again.

A kilo of it only last me like 6 months or less. I am trying to stretch it even further by just redoing my frontal hairline once every 2 weeks and my whole head once a month.

Almost 27 weeks (last relaxer 5/2). I did a halo relaxer on 7/16. I can't decide if I want to just go completely natural, do halos only (can't stand to have sticking up edges) or do an underprocessed relaxer/ texlax. *sigh* Decisions, decisions.

The wet buns and no chems are really making my hair grow. It helps since I'm in a fit camp and don't have to worry about maintaining straight hair/ reversion right now.

?? Did you mean an earlier date?

I'm 4-5 weeks post. I'm going to try my first 16 week stretch. I'm going to revisit henna, my ayurvedic powders (I finally got some bringraj!), and I bought a steamer to use with my conditioners. Hopefully, I'll make it without difficulty.
