MTG
Lenzi's Request

Which would you not buy again
Surge (Spray)

Still have to evaluate Miconazole Nitrate

MN (2%)w/weggie glyc.-
too greasy- but had great growth ( about 2 in./ 1 cycle)

MN (4%)w/JBCO-
keeper- mix w/ nettle, burdock, saw palmetto extracts. New for this cycle.

I've only used Surge and I wouldn't buy it again. I just don't have the patience for all that spraying and whatnot. Plus, it makes my roots so crinkly and hard that I have very few styling options. I am texlaxed and I don't need all that hassle. I pop my vits and that's about it.

out of all of them.
MTG-5 times a week and I wash 2x a week

Miconazole Nitrate-2%(summer) 4%(winter)

Castor Oil-Help thicken edges

Which are keepers!
MTG
Miconazole Nitrate

Which would you not buy again

Im still unsure about the Castor oil..:look:

From the list above i have used MTG and castor oil.... of the two i will only continue to use the castor oil. The castor helps control the excema on my scalp

I just purchased some EMU oil and am looking forward to seeing how it works after 2 months of weekly use on my scalp. I also own WGO, but i dont use it as a growth aid.

Only 1 and that is Lenzi's Request and yes, I will keep buying it as long as I am able to. I luv this stuff!!!

I have used MTG, castor oil, and Surge,
I didn't think Surge did anything for my hair. Castor oil I use but not for hair growth. I use it on my ends. Now, MTG I love I see results every time. I have never used MTG consistently without growing less than an inch of hair per month. My thing this year though is to just protect my ends even better so I won't trim as often so that I can retain the growth even better than I have.

I have just started using mtg. It is too soon to really judge it yet. The other I voted for was Hairobics scalp booster. I used this a while back before I was really on the hair thing full time. I loved the smell and the way it felt on my scalp. I think it really worked. I started using it one early summer right after my boyfriend at the time went away for an internship. By the time he came back that august he noticed how my hair was alot longer. It would have prob. been longer if I was taking care of the rest of it. Considering I would fry and dry it to death at that time I would say it works. I am really thinking of revisting this one. The ingredients look similar to Lenzie request. I just got some capsium so I might mix the two.

I have used MTG, MN, La India, Surge, Minoval, Annaleic Oil & Black Caster Oil. I don't use the black Caster Oil for growth just on my ends.

KEEPERS: MTG & MN

NOT USE AGAIN: Minoval & Surge (can't deal with wet hair all the time)

JURY'S OUT ON: Annaleic Oil & La India as i've not used them long enough to judge results, although so far I quite like the Annaleic oil.

Used: MTG, Castor Oil, MN, Surge

Keepers: MTG, Castor Oil

Surge broke my hair off and since I was using Neosporin (MN), it became too time consuming to apply from the little tube.

I have used Surge and a home mixture of Sulfur 8 and Frenchee grease. Both were short lived because I got tired of applying it to my scalp nightly.

OMG I've used those all but not the Annaleic, but I did/do use the Jo Oil made by the same woman.

I bought La India yesterday.

2 London Junkies!!:p

MN, MTG, Surge.

I still do Surge. The other's had to go. They were either too much work or too stinky.

MTG
MN
Castor Oil
My own homemade mixes

I have seen very nice results using those products so I will continue to use all of the above til I SURPASS my ultimate goal.

The miconazole nitrate 2% seems to be leading the pack by a slim margin. The thing that bothers me about that is the fact that a member named "California" introduced it to the forum a year ago by talking about using the monostat 7 and a good portion of people were quick to ridicule and call her "desperate" just becuause she decided to think outside the box. I'm not saying that anyone who voted for MN were one of the people who ridiculed her, but maybe perhaps it's a lesson to all LHCF's that we shouldn't riducle people who dare to think outside the box because it just may be their advice that you'll need one day.

In the beginning of my hair journey WINTER 2005 I used OTHER --- NEXXUS Vitatress Biotin Creme. I used it consistently for like 4 months. I do not think they make it anymore. I really liked that product. I think NEXXUS did away with the entire Vitatress line [Biotin Shampoo, Vitamins, Biotin Creme and a few other products]

In FALL 2005 I was constantly adding Home Health Castor Oil to most of my conditioners. I will start back adding Castor Oil to some of my conditioners within the next few months.

For some reason it seems like my hair takes off and grows whenever I consistently use Straight Arrows Mane-n-Tail Original Formula Shampoo and Original Formula Conditioner. For me---those 2 are my staple growth products !!! LOVE THEM !!!

Honestly, MN is the only thing I have really used at length. I bought a sample sized bottle of MTG, but tossed it because I can't deal with the smell and oiliness. A few years ago I tried Surge when I was wearing cornrows but after a couple of days my scalp started getting red and irritated from that. I do own some Lenzi's but I have yet to really use it.

Now that I am in braids I don't want to use MN cream because I am afraid of any build up that might happen.

This past weekend, I did buy some Lotrimin AF topical solution emptied the bottle into a 3/4 full bottle of that Shen Min stuff (another thing I bought and never really used) that I had stashed. I am going to play around with that mixture to see if i get faster growth. To make it last, I am using it every other day.

I have been using Lenzi's Request for the past two weeks. I haven't noticed anything yet, but I like it and plan to continue using. I just began using MN last night...we'll see how that goes. I'm hoping the MN will help with the scalp problems I get (little bumps at nape, itchy scalp). I have always used castor oil, but not for growth. I put it on my ends and on dry patches on my scalp every now and then.

With all the talk of MTG I think that will be my next purchase! I went online yesterday to buy some, but I was turned off by the shipping price. It was almost as much as the product!

I've been using 2 SURGE products (Hair Revitalizer and Ultra Max). I have been using the spray consistently for the past 2 months (2x a day) and I don't notice any spectacular "growth" results. Maybe others who don't see me everyday will see a change in length. I don't 'cause I live with my hair daily!

I only spray my scalp and on occasion spritz my ends lightly so I don't have a "wetness" problem. I will continue to use it until the containers are empty. I do like the way it conditions my hair so it's not a a total miss!

I purchased the Lenzi's Request and have not used it yet. I also have Wild Grow Oil (carrier) and haven't used that either. I will though...

MTG mixed with MN . I use it an average of 3 times a week. My hair grows 1/2 inch per month. I dont really know if MTG is helping with my hair growth, but it has helped to increase thickness.

I have used Lenzi's Request and I like it, my hair has picked up additional growth (about 1 additional inch per month).

I only tried one. Surge had too much protein for me to use it daily without my hair being totally moisturized/wet like feel ie;jheri juice level. It caused my hair to become really dry and brittle.
I think Surge would be a keeper for me if I decided to wear my hair in a ponytail or bun sopping with scurl moisturizer and baggying nightly.
