Hmmm, I have a good trim maybe once a year. Other than that I just dust the ends as needed.

I get a good trim about 2-3 times a year. I found a hair dresser that trims only the damaged portion.

For the past several years, I have been trimming my hair every time I reveive a relaxer touch-up. However, I think that I will receive trims every other relaxer, per recommendation of my new and womderful JC Penney stylist.

My last trim was in February, and I don't think I'll trim again until like 2005. I do have a pair of professional shears, and I do dust maybe once or twice per year (where I hunt for split ends and cut only those).

Because I don't use heat on my hair on a regular basis and my hair is up all of the time, I don't see the need to keep it nice and neat.

I haven't gotten a trim since I cut my hair into an ear-length bob in the Autumn of last year.

I've had a couple of dustings since then, though.

Thats what I used to do. That turns out to be 6 or 7 trims a year! When my hair was damaged thats what it needed. Now I am going to start skipping too.

I trim only when necessary, but I dust (1/8-1/4 inch) every two months. I do this because I wear my hair down most of the time and want to keep my ends healthy.

I dust after every relaxer. I had terrible split ends. I started with a MAJOR trim in Feb. It's less and less with each visit.

well before i came to this bored it was like every two weeks no joke...i just hate scraggly ends but so far it has been a month and a half...im making progress

I stoped trimming my hair in Jan2002. Im not in a hurry to trim them again. My mom has waist lenght hair and she doesn't trim her hair. Now that my hair is growing nicely she insists that I forget about trims. When I reach my goal I'll trim a bit then.

I last got my hair trimmed November of last year. It's funny because my hair grows in layers and everybody thinks someone cut it to frame my face. I don't trim it, and I think the only time I had it trimmed was when I went to get my hair done professionally.

Now I used to cut it a lot, because from the age of 13-16 I liked to keep my hair at a half inch from shoulderlength. But I would not do maintenance trims. I just didn't feel it was necessary.

The last 5-10 years, I had been trimming about 5-6 times a year.

This year, I've already trimmed 5 times (and we're talking 1 inch to 1.5 inches a couple of those times!). However, I'm not using any heat anymore, I wear protective styles and am generally just taking better care of my hair. I don't see the split ends that I used to so I am going to start only trimming twice a year and dusting as necessary.

I had my last trim at the end of August 2003 and I don't plan on trimming again until March 2004.

Up until a couple of months ago, I was trimming at least half an inch 6 times a year to keep my ends as blunt as possible. After a trimming mishap with my beautician which has thrown me off track of my goal of brastrap by June, I am going to start trimming a lot less to catch up...probably half an inch 2 or 3 times a year.
