How Many Started Challenge With Color??

But returned to black? I have color right now and although at first I liked the highlights, they have slowly sucked the life out of my hair - no matter how hard I have tried to keep it healthy. How many of you returned to black (or brown if that is your natural color) and how do you like your hair now?

I have color in my hair now, and you're absolutely right - it IS a challenge, and I never realized how much of a potential difference the color could make to my growth until I started reading forums.

My natural hair color is dark dark brown with reddish undertones, and while I won't be putting any sort of chemicals in my hair - I'm eagerly awaiting my shipment of henna (body art quality - it's the ONLY stuff safe enough to put on chemically treated hair - if you're the LEAST bit interested read hennaforhair.com) to come in so that I can start using it. Henna actually conditions and strengthens your hair - which seems to be PERFECT for those of us trying to keep every last strand as long as it can be.
