I always had my hairdresser do one when I had relaxed hair. She was amazing!!! I didn't notice any improvement in growth or health of my hair but it did feel really good!!!

I always try to do one on myself when I'm about to wash off the deep conditioner but I'm not even nearly as good as my hairdresser was. /images/graemlins/bath.gif

The only time I massage my scalp is when I shampoo my hair. Right now, that's about every 3 (sometimes 4) days.

cathy howse's stimulating conditioner gives my scalp some intensive tingling- it's just as good as a scalp /images/graemlins/grin.gifmassage!

Girl, you know you're right!! /images/graemlins/grin.gif That's the stimulation my scalp gets too. Of course, if I remembered, I'd probably do a hand massage nightly too. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I've just started doing scalp massages with weleda Rosemary Hair Oil. I try to do this at least twice a week, prior to every shampoo.

i have also added some peppermint oil to my pre-shampoo hot oil mix with honey. i use this when i dont condition with Cathys UBH stimulating conditioner /images/graemlins/bath.gif

i massage my scalp whenever i wash my hair and i also brush my hair -maybe not every day but about 3-4 times a week- and it feels so great. i love it. sometimes my husband massages or brushes my hair.....even better /images/graemlins/blush.gif

I used to do them all the time. I don't know if the helped but they sure didn't hurt. I used to have that black and red electric massage brush they sold at Sally's. I wonder if they still sell them, they were great for massaging my temples when I had a headache. /images/graemlins/wink.gif
