You we right about the difference between a hooded dryer and steam dryer. Both are needed. If you are doing a hard-core protein the hooded would be best. The steam dryer is good for moisture or while using a moisturizing condtioner. But my hairdresser used a warm damp cloth over my plastic cap and then put me under the dryer. Maybe try this first and see what happens.Nice said:I am seriously considering purchasing one this week!!!
Yes, she sits me under the dryer for 40 minutes with the damp warm towel wrapped around the plastic cap for whole time. Once done she unwraps my hair and remove plastic cap and rinse. Some people do put damp towel under plastic cap instead of on top. My hair come out super soft.Cherokee said:Does she sit you under a hood dryer? Also how long do you leave the towel on?

You're very welcome but all I did was add to the info CCD posted first! If she hadn't of posted what she did, I wouldn't have gotten one either (they cost TOOOOOO much)!!!
So, thanks CCD!!
