How many ladies have hit braclasp length this year?

I've been reading a lot of signatures where members are saying they are braclasp length. I am included in that bunch. I've decided not to do the blunt cut yet because I want to be past bottom of braclasp before I go blunt so I will still be braclasp.

So ladies who have made braclasp this year holla! Oh please include the length you were when you first joined. I'll go first:

I hit bra-strap late October I am currently pass bra-strap but plan on chopping off 2 inches due to thin ends so that will put me exactly at bra-clasp
I had the big chop 3 years ago so it is a major acomplishment for me. My friends and family can't believe how long my hair is

My longest layers were at brastrap at the beginning of the year and into spring. However, since I've been in the thick of my transition, I've been trimming my ends away faster than the new growth comes in. So now, I'm only an inch or two below shoulder length. I can't wait until my natural hair gets as long as my relaxed hair got.

When I joined I was in the middle of shoulder blades in May 03 with 3 inches of underprocessed lye roots. The rest being no lye. I relaized I hit bra clasp Friday night and now the no lye part is all cut off and I'm slightly lye texturized on all my hair.

What exactly is the difference between bra-clasp and bra strap. Is bra-clasp in the center of the strap? Please help me out here, thanks.

Anyway to respond to skee, I git bra strap in Septmeber of this year, but had two trims (the last one was a blunt cutter) which put me well above it. I am now about an inch over the strap. I plan on getting back there by Feb. (slow grower).

I just got a relaxer and trim yesterday after 13 wks. Well, hopefully I will be at bra strap by June/July of 2005. I never thought my hair would get that long,Im excited and proud . I had my hair chopped in Aug.2003 to my earlobe, so it's coming along at a decent pace

I started transitioning out my bone straight relaxed hair into a texturizer in May 2003 with circa 15 inches.
I hit bra strap for sure 1 December. I plan to cut 4-5 inches in February 2005 to get rid of my relaxed thin ends and I also want a blunt cut.

Not quite! But I think Ill hit by mid Feb or maybe even March. I had been shooting for this month. Oh well it didnt happen but my hair is still happy and healthy as can be expected with all thats went on this year!

I made it there this month! I trimmed again to even out my blunt cut, but I'm still there (only when wet or flat ironed straight). I'm slightly above it when it's air-dried or curly.

Yay SouthernGirl! In the pic in my avatar my ends are bumped. My hair actually touches brastrap when stretched. But my goal is for my hair to be at brastrap unstretched. I started at 16 1/2 quite some time ago (during the old BHSGO days). My hair grows ssssoooooo ssslllooowwwlllyy. Also, the hair near my crown had broken off so part of that time was spent evening out my layers. Not only do people comment on the length of my hair now but also how healthy it is.

I'd like to think I'd have joined you ladies if I'd avoided SHSs this year, but who am I kidding? those are just torture thoughts (frustrating situations that are unchangeable) so I hope to join the list by the end of Spring 2005. Congratulations to all the LHCF members who reached braclasp/strap this year (and for guys who reached midback - don't wanna be sexist now, lol).

I hit it this year in November. However, I cut off 4 inches to get rid of my layers but I know I will be back in no time. The pics are in my album. Take care Q

I have But I really don't know when exactly it happened...I noticed after my last touch-up (3 weeks ago) when I flatironed my hair. Usually I wear it curly, so it didn't look to be that long. Now I'm looking forward to my mid-back goal...hopefully I'll hit that by May!

Oh braclasp to me is where you join the bra together with the hooks. I'm a little bit passed the top of my clasp.

I just hit braclasp yesterday. Well, I don't know the official day but I had been braiding my hair and keeping it under a wig and yesterday was wash day. I am barely there BUT there nonetheless. Unfortunately I still have inches upon inches to go until I have blunt even brastrap hair like I want.

I'm not too excited because I think only one lock of hair is actully brastrap, lol...The majority of my hair is still hovering at about a half inch to an inch above brastrap.
