From the front hairline to my waist it's about 33 inches. I'm 5'8" with a long head, long neck, and long torso...no wonder it's taking me forever just to get to BSL!:)

For me I think it's 28", I have a short short torso and really long legs. Yesterday I realized I only have 12 inches to go to reach my waist. My normal growth rate is about 1/2 inch per month (I'm on MN and seeing results, hopefully that will continue), so I should be able to get to waist in 3 years allowing for 6 inches of trims along the way.

i'm 5'4" tall, i'm transitioning and it seems like my hair has stopped growing.i made an eo mix and i've benn using it in my dh's head (he has a bald spot) i've been using it for about 2 1/2 weeks on him and i see some fuzzies growing in and filling the spot so i will be using it more often, i've only used 2-3 times per week. i hope i see some more growth.

wml(wish me luck)

It's about 28 inches, maybe 29. I am tall but have a short torso, or rather a high waist. My longest layer is about 6 inches away from my waist right now. So hopefully, in a year, I will be there.

How are you guys measuring, with a tape measure? Are you doing it yourself, or getting help from someone?

i use a tape measure and hold it at the top of my head and stretch my hair as far down my back as it goes, the ends of the strand is what is measured. hth

This is how I do it too.

i'd say about 29". I used to think it was 31" but it turns out that around my bellybutton area, it's 29"... 31" to cover my whole back if i'm wearing jeans, i guess

I'm not really sure since there seem to be different opinions about where waistlength actually is. I have seen people with hair all the way up at their rib cage claiming waistlength. I've always thought it was lower.

I am 5'1" and I measure 30 inches.

I placed the beginning of the measuring tape at my hairline just above my forehead and stretch the tape to my waist.

Is this how it is done?

Yeah I did that and I still got 25 1/2...I never knew how short my torso was l0l...Well hey all I need is 25 inches of hair to be waist length..I've got 17 more inches to go l0l....That should be a good 2 years

Waistline is the narrowest part of your waist. Where the bend is.

Mine is 31" from hairline. I'm 5'6". Quite a short torso I think... not sure though.
