How many hairs come out in the Maxiglide Pins?

Did you rollerset first or did you air dry? How do you prevent hairs coming out?

I don't use the plates with the pins anymore. When I did, I lost a considerable amount of hair. Now I only use the smooth plates.

I detangle each section first and I might lose 3-5 hair total.

I usually air-dry and loose maybe 4 or 5 hairs. It's really not enough to be concerned about. If you detangle each section you should be fine.

I'm a 4a natural that used the blow dryer first and then the Maxiglide with pins. I lost about 7 hairs. This is a small amount to me, but then my hair is thick THICK so it doesn't bother me.

I am careful though and detangled gently before slowly moving the maxiglide down the hair.

I airdry. i detangle each piece before using the pins. Only 3-5 strands are in the pins afterward.

That is the reason I stopped using it. It looks like a lot of hair but if your hair is long it might be 3-5 strands. I use to freak out.

I definately dont airdry,I would lose a lot of hairs if I did. I blow dry then flat iron. I love the teeth, hair is always detangled first, if not I hit steam button gets hair soft.

i don't use the teeth at all! it pulls at my hair too much for my comfort.
