How Long Does It Take You To Do Your Hair In The Morning?

It depends on how air drying my hair turned out. My hair is so thick when I air dry it is almost impossible to do anything with.So sometimes I have to flat iron to take away some of the thickness. That is what I am having to do now. I forgot to put my hair in a ponytail and air dry that way(doing this makes my hair less poofy and thick) I mean my hair is relaxed and if I don't air dry with a pony I have a big afro in the morning:lol: I try not to spend more than 30 min. on my hair. When I dry my hair the right way it takes no more than 5 min to do.

Bun, less than 5 minutes
French Braid, 15 minutes (to get it just right)

On the rare occasions I wear it out, I takes me less than 5 minutes because my roller sets hold really well and all I have to do is fluff the hair up a little in the morning.

I would say 30 sec. if I have a pony or braid style, and about 5min. If I'm wearing it out, I just take out the pin curls and finger comb.

When I was transitioning (which I'm not anymore), it took me about 30 minutes or more. Now, it takes about 5 minutes (bun, wrap, or rollerset). :p

1 MINUTE with braids in my hair but I have to do Baby Girl's hair in the morning that takes 5 minutes because I am moisturizing it.

In the mornings after I set my hair, 10 minutes-30 minutes. After I take down the rollers, I flat iron the roots. If my set was good then it takes less time.

On regular mornings, 5 minutes. I just unwrap, apply serum or coconut oil and go.

2 seconds, I just take off my scarf.

But when I am in a pony maybe four seconds. Since I have to put the pony tail holder on!:p

D I T T O! Maybe 15 seconds if I add some fancy chopsticks to my bun . . .

Depends on my style...

Braids...1 minute maybe 2 (unwrap scarf, fluff hair, add water and gel if wearing curly braids)

Bun...5-10 minutes (I like it to look smooth and neat)

Quickweave...5 minutes

My hair down...10-20 minutes depending on how much I needed to do it

i dont spend any time on my hair in the morn, i keep my BEDTIME head scarf on and put a hat over the top!

For a shake-n-go, about 7 minutes (5 minutes to detangle and condition in the shower/tub) and about 2 minutes to apply conditioner/gel and shake).

For twists, about 2 minutes--I moisture spritz, add grease/butter lightly and shake them. Sometimes I add a headband/scarf, which takes another 30 seconds.

It depends on how I'm styling my hair.

I spend about 2 - 3 minutes moisturizing my ends and another minute applying serum.

I can make a bun in about 2-3 minutes.
It takes me about 1 -2 minutes to make a French Twist
It takes 1 minute for an braidout.

So it can take anywhere from 5 to 7 minutes even up to 10 minutes if I take my time.;)
ETA: If I use Caruso rollers, I'll add another 10-15 minutes. :)

I sleep with a bun.... and then in the morning I unpin it, shake it out, then rebun to make it neater = 5 minutes, tops. :D

It depends on what style I'm wearing

1 min if I just have to unwrap and wear my hair straight.

About 3 mins if I have a flexi rod set.

About 5 mins if I'm wearing a braid out, twist out, or triple barrell set.

If I'm blown out...Five minutes to unwrap it.

If I'm transitioning/stretching about 10 minutes...

Less than 3 minutes. I rewet it with a spray bottle, add a bit of gel, and a little coconut or kemy oil.
