How Do I Prevent My Braidouts From Reverting?

My hair looks great after the braidouts but twenty minutes later it begins to get bigger and bigger and loses some definition. I'm 13 months post by the way. My hair is braided slightly damp and is dry by morning. What do I do to make it last longer?

You might want to use products with some silcones like Chi silk infusion. Or you can try to do your braid-outs on wet hair and use products with ceramines in them.

I do dampen my hair but are you suggesting wet hair instead? Thanks for the feedback.

I suggest wet. Not damp, or towel dried hair. You can ring out the water a bit with your hands to prevent dripping.
