4-5 hrs. I air dry loose with the scarf method. The back center is last to dry. If I braid my hair it takes 6-7 hrs max. I ONLY air dry and have done so exclusively for many years. I love it. I go to sleep with a towel on my pillow, my hair lays out on it (side sleeper), and it dries well and pretty straight that way. I bun mostly anyway even if it doesnt dry straight (texlaxed).

2 days. So I guess that means low porosity?

I love it. When I see people complaining about hair taking long to dry-- I know they don't realize that means their hair accepts moisture and holds it! That's a good thing. You may need to experience hair that doesn't get wet to really appreciate this.

So when your hair takes long to dry that's a good thing? Does that mean its high porosity? A few girls like myself would like to know. Thank you!

Taking a long time to dry normally low-porosity. It is difficult for the water to penetrate your strand which is a classic lo-po symptom.
