how long did you transition before B.C`ing?

...When to BC is such a personal decision, no one can tell you when the time is right but you sis...You'll know when you're really ready (t.r.u.s.t. me) until then keep on growing it out

...My plan was to transition for 18 months or longer. But when it came down to it, the time was right earlier. You will know.

ITA! My plan was to transition for at least a year but as the months went by, I got more and more antsy. I bc'd at the 8 months.

Well that plan didn't work out. I BC'd at 15 months.

I'm 12 months with no definitive end date. I plan to start LCing at BSL to maintain that length.

i actually don't plan on bc'ing...i was hoping on doing yearly light trims until all the relaxer was cut out (that sounds so unrealistic, but i've only trimmed once in 2008 so i think i can do it lol).

I'm currently 14 months post (last relaxer was March 1, 2007). I'm trying to hold out until September to BC (that will be 18 months), but it's gets harder and harder every day.

9 months. I was planning to transition for 24 months, but the 2 textures were making me crazy. I just couldn't justify spending that much time/product detangling ends I had no intention of keeping.
