How long are your shortest layers?

I would especially appreciate answers from APL and longer ladies but I want to include everyone too.

I would add a poll but there are too many combinations (I think)

I'll start. I am APL but my shortest layer is chin. This isn't an intended style my front and sides just grow really slowly.

My shortest layers are chin length... only CBL though.

That is a result of how my fro was cut when I was natural. Haven't noticed any difference in growth rates around my head though.

I'm almost apl in the back but my shortest layer is in the top of my head and its like cheek length wich is like 6 in long

My shortest layers are chin length which is the front of my hair. This is with me just stretching my hair, it may be longer if I flat ironed my hair but I am too lazy for that at this time. I am apl in the back.

APL in back, shortest layers CL. Due to horrible haircut last year and damage. Once back reaches BSL I will maintain and trim until the sides catch up a bit. I like layers but not THAT much of a length difference!

I'm about APL and my shortest layer is about chin-length as well.

My longest layers are CBL and shortest range from cheek length to nose length (with 1/2 in of each other). I hope to get to at least nape length/shoulder length by the end of the year for my shortest layers.

I am like am BSL and my shortest length is like an inch below my eye due to cutting bangs to cover my huge head. Now I want to grow it out.

These answers are really interesting. My front and side layers grow so slowly, I can hardly imagine some areas reaching even my shoulders

Shortest layers are cl length!!!My hair cud have been bsl but I have been maintaing for a year because I dont like layers.They werent intentional ;before my hhj my middle of hair/nape always broke off..Now it was the middle's turn...So my nape has been growing but my middle is catching up...I wont cut ne more I have actually grown to like my layers..Im growing them out with mn...

I love layers and will always have them...I think that they give me and my hair character. My hair is BSB and my shortest layers in the crown about shoulder length...once I hit MBL, I want to have lower (deeper) layers cut. Oh, and my hair kind-of has that W, weird V shape going on...
