how do you use your castor oil?

so, i've come to understand that i'm sitting on a little bottle of (black) gold. i've got some JBCO and so far, i've only been using it on my eyelashes and brows. tried OCM with it once, i'll give it another go once my 30 days of EVOO are up (trying to find which oil works best for me).

i haven't added it to any conditioners yet, but i plan to. but i know i could be doing a lot more! so what do you ladies use it for? and how?

also, not quite sure which forum to put this in, as it's a general question, so i just though this forum would get way more traffic. if it's in the wrong spot, please excuse me!

Castor Oil is the only oil I'm liking right now. I can't get my Coconut oil out of the jar half the time because it seals shut. But when I use it, it does not moisturize as I would like. To keep my hair from getting too oily, I just pour a half-dollar amount in the palm of my hands, rub my hands then rub through my hair after I've moisturized it. I do this until I feel I have reached most of my hair. Paying close attention to the ends.

I use is as a sealer in my moisturizer. I have to mix the two together because it is so thick. I use it also in my MT mix.

I rub a few drops on my hands, and then run my hands down/through my hair. I usually do this every other day, after I finish megassaging my scalp.

I'm using it in my co mixes, on my ends and edges (great for filling in, not overnight though), and as a sealant for my wet hair (I have to detangle first, apply the oil, then pin it up.)

what exactly is sealing? do you just use it on your ends or your whole hair? i've been lurking here a while and i still don't know exactly what that is.

anyone using it internally or on their face?
