How do you use distilled water?

Hi everyone!

Taking time out from lurking to ask- I usually find everything I need from the search fxn. Getting cold here, and the water is hard this time of year, so I've decided to use distilled H20. My questions are: do you heat it or use room temp? Straight from bottle or pour it into cup first? How many gallons does it take to rinse both shampoo and conditioner? Any tips you have will be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Honeylove ~

I've used it as a final rinse, poured straight from the bottle. It was quite cold.

lol. I've also used it in a spray bottle to spritz my hair after I wash and in between washes. That method has also made a difference.

i use it the same way, and it gives me very soft hair.

I use it for my acv rinses, and I also use it (sometimes) as my final rinse.

I haven't tried using it as a rinse but I use it to create my spray mixes.
