I part my hair in four sections, put my moisturizer on, and then seal with jojoba oil.
This is what I do but I do it on damp hair and seal with shea butter or castor oil

If I want to stretch out my relaxer and avoid breakage. Sectioning and Parting when moisturizing will help greatly.
My new growth in the middle is always sooooo dry. I always just slap moisturizer on the top of my hair and smooth into a bun.
Ever since I started moisturizing like this:

I haven't had any issues with dryness
When I first get a relaxer I would just run my fingers through my hair with a moisturizer. Now that I'm 23 weeks post I moisturize and seal in sections. That is the only way to make sure my ng is moisturized.
Same here! I am 14 weeks post and managing THREE textures of hair. I was going crazy because my NG was so dry and my hair has been tangling. I see now that I have not been moisturizing adequately. A quarter sized amt. of moisturizer slapped on the middle of my hair does nothing for to tame my NG.
I moisturize and seal in small sections because I have thick hair. If I only ran my hands over my hair, the majority of it wouldn't get product.
