Hi Ladies! I decided to do my own relaxer on 8-21-05. The finished product was pretty decent in that, my roots seemed straight and there wasn't much shedding during the combout and styling afterwards. Well, I washed my hair last night and it felt REALLY soft. I was just wondering if this is cause for alarm. BTW, I used Motions Mild Relaxer and I'm sure I prolonged the recommed 15-22minute process by at least 10 more minutes.

How will I know if I did it wrong?

Great question Bee. I would like to know for both over and under processed hair?

Well for me I noticed that my hair was very dry and brittle and it was shedding more than you would believe! To make matters worse I never knew it was underprocessed and used heat on it everyday...and my hair never grew and it stayed the same length for years?! Now I have made an almost complete turnaround since I have found this forum. hehe ---Check out my album for proof from Jan-August 2005.:D ;)
