I have been getting the dudleys true indulgence relaxer for about the past 4 relaxers. It makes my hair feel really silkly and straight but I feel like after three to four weeks my hair texture totally feels out of wack. Is this normal. Should I try another relaxer? How do you know if a relaxer doesn't agreed with your hair.

I think it depends on if you are getting breakage or excessive dryness or underprocessed hair. I switched relaxers because I thought it was processing my hair too quickly and was a little too harsh. since I was using regular strength, I switched to mild. The mild strength was underprocessing my hair. It didn't take long for me to see that. I noticed immediately (within a day) that I was underprocessed so, I switched brands all together.

If it's taking 3-4 weeks for you to see problems, it may not be the relaxer. Maybe it's the products or styling but that's just my opinion.
