I don't know if this is a relaxer issue

For my last two touch ups I have went back to using my childhood relaxer, Gentle Treatment. I have loved this relaxer. My hair comes our super straight and it is so soft, but I remember why I stop using them.

My hair at that relaxer after only a few weeks. My roots are raging right now and I usually go months between relaxers. I like stretching, although I don't call it that, but I don't know if this means I need to find a new relaxer. I don't really wear my hair straight too much anymore and only airdry and do ponytails and buns or put flexi rods in.

I think it was probably the relaxer. I used to use Gentle Treatment for a while when I was relaxed, but changed to ORS because my roots would stay straighter.

But GM was so much better on my hair. Less shedding and stuff.
