Hot comb on an electric stove?

I moved earlier this year... from a place that has a gas stove to one that only has an electric stove.

I like to press my hair. Flat irons don't do anything for me. I need the comb to get it straight and silky.

I'm not sure if they are good to use on electric stoves though. I'm used to the open flame.

Would it be ok?

Yes it's fine to use the hot comb on an electric stove. I currently use my portable electric oven for pressing my hair; but in the past I used my regular electric stove for heating up my hot comb with no problems.

AHHH hot comb! This would be me and my mom when I was little and she mentioned the words hot comb I'm surpriseD I have any ears left....she would burn the crap outta the tops of my ears! :burning: MANNNN if she wasn't my mother !

Yes, I've also used an electric stove before and it worked fine .
