Homemade Braid Spray

Ok ladies....I got some kinky twists Sunday and would rather make my own moisturizing spray then buy some from the store. My routines pretty simple but here's some of the things I have in my cabinet...

Nexus Humectress
911 Leave In Conditioner
Olive Oil
Garnier Long and Strong Conditioner
Oyin Braid Pomade
Oyin Whipped Pudding

I was thinking of diluting the 911 with some water and maybe adding a little Humectress but Im up for more creative ideas.

the Oyin would be nice to rub thru your hair a few times a week.

Is the 911 a protien conditioner? I wouldn't use that alot even if diluted. I would focus on moisturizing my hair while in them and when u get them out--do a nice protien treatment on ur hair.

I like to keep my concoctions simple

Water
Glycerin (not too much)
Oil (castor, olive...not too much)
Conditioner (cheapie like Suave or Nexxus--i like both)

I know what you mean. Some of the braid sprays (eg. African Pride) are pretty oily, especially for daily use.

I might put braids in this weekend and I was expecting to use cheapie conditioner (Sauve) diluted with distilled water. I'd add glycerin if I had any. I figured I'd keep it simple though.
