Don't give up on the Honey Butta! I love it! You definitely don't need a lot, though. You know I'm heavy-handed as heck but I go real light with this one. :yep: I think you'll like it!

would u mind explaining how you like to use it? And for what kind of styles do u use it for? When i used it i used not even enough to make it a pea size on each section. But my hair was wet/damp. It wasn't soaking wet. and i think it would be better on soaking wet hair

Darcy's Botanical's Shea Butter Cream.

This is now side by side w/ my baby daddy oyin dew for daily moisturizing. :yep:

I almost always use it on my wet hair, after washing. And I find myself using a very small amount, also. It is very rich and that tiny amount is perfect for me. I use it to wrap my hair or to air dry it. :yep:

o lawd @Poranges u got me wanting the Darcys Shea Butter leave in now lol

Hit:
Claudie's Hair Gel - leaves my hair soft and smooth, doesnt flake or leave residue, staple!

Miss:
Carol's Daughter Hair Milk (Original) - this stuff is the worse, smells bad, left my hair greasy and dry as a bone - Im so turned off by it - like the worse thing ive ever put in my hair! yuck!

IDareT'sHair honey butta is more of a leave-in under a styler to me - its definitely not something i would use as a moisturizer! :nono:

IDareT'sHair I use my cj honey butter as a styler underneath puranaturals capachu butter for the prettiest twist outs. My fine hair comes out with big waves and looks so thick and pretty.

Miss: The new version of Elasta QP Creme Conditioning Shampoo

I tried to give this another shot, but I must face the fact that this stuff just does not work for me. It feels and performs like an exact replica of KeraCare Hydrating & Detangling Shampoo and CON Argan Oil Shampoo, in that, it has a thick, somewhat slimy consistency that lathers well and makes the hair feel soft and silky while rinsing, which greatly facilitates detangling.

However, its biggest flaw, which all three shampoos share, is the fact that it significantly decreases the volume of my hair after each use - Paul Mitchell’s The Conditioner and those nasty Skala conditioners also produce the same de-volumizing result. Since the old formula is a staple and I can no longer find any more of it, I’m leaving to go cry into my pillow while muttering some rather nasty expletives.

MISS:
Being a PJ even thought i never use 75% of the new products i buy:look:

Sitting on the fence and dare I say it because I hated it and can't believe I bought it - Infusium 23 moisture replenisher. Did they change the formula back to the original circa 198? and not tell anybody? The results are not the same. I can't believe how it instantly detangled my hair. It wasn't stiff just.....softtttt:love:. No water dilution needed. I used it straight from the bottle.

I'll try it a few more times before making a final decision.
