through a few setbacks, shedding in 2008 and dreads that I had to cut out recently, my hair was growing. It's not as thick as it was because I had to cut a few pieces out but it's not noticable.

oh, i'm 4'11 and my hair is not straight...

You are such an inspiration to us 4bs! Your hair is beautiful. You said you had a setback from shedding and if you don't mind me asking what attributed to that? I have been majorly shedding from autoimmune issues/medication myself and it really gets discouraging. Sometimes I wonder if I'll reach my goal with all of this shedding but hearing you say you suffered from shedding and seeing your results, I know there's hope for me .
