Hicks vs Design Essentials Edge Control?

Which edge control do you like better: Hicks or Design Essentials?

Hicks... I've tried both and DE failed. Hicks holds these 4C edges down. I apply a bit, throw on my scarf for 10 minutes and viola...‎

I haven't tried Hicks but I have tried quite a few including DE. So far DE is the best. I will definitely give Hicks a try.

Hicks works better for me, it holds longer and smooths out my roughest areas like it's nothing.

I hate the name, but my favorite edge control is gorilla snot gel. Just a pea sized amount + a toothbrush or soft bristle brush. I don't have to tie it down. Just apply get ready and go.

Hicks only works for 5 minutes on my hair. If I use a scarf, the sleek look disappears completly.
