i just wanted to say hi to everyone. ive been lurking around for a while now and decided to finally join.
a little background on my hair:
i think it has 3c curls and ive been trying to grow it out for abut a year and some change. i used to straighten my hair everyday in 9th and 10th grade but then i realized how horribly fried my hair was so i cut a lot of it off and started at a little past sl. i think my hairs been growing fine but i have very thin hair so ive been cutting it a lot lately to thicken up my ends. i got my hair all the way to bsl but i recently cut it back to apl. ok so i think thats everything about my hair! :yep:

after my trim, still thin but a lot better than b4

How has your heat usage been? Cutting back to cutting out heat thickened up my ends considerably. What helped was that someone pointed out that the ends were the oldest part of your hair (think about how long ago they prob. grew from your scalp!) and they are always getting the brunt of heat, treatments, etc. So, I only use indirect heat now, even if that, and my ends have gotten much thicker.

Very pretty! My hair is very thin too (always has been) but still trying to thicken it up.

Welcome! You have beautiful hair.

From what I've learned so far about gaining thickness is to use [black] castor oil. I haven't tried it yet but I have placed a order with Amazon. Maybe its worth a shot.

HHJ!

welcome
your hair is beautiful but it looks naturally thin. my family has hair like yours. i dont think you can thicken naturally thin hair. just stop using heat all together.
